#MentalHealth AwarenessWeek & The Role Our Workplace Plays

It’s #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and it’s integral to highlight the topic within companies. It affects a multitude of people and we’re proud to have a number of initiatives in place to support our team.

Conscious of the need to avoid burnout, Multivitamin Circus provides a unique opportunity for team members to take time away from project work. Run as a quarterly event each team member is given a weekday off to pursue an interest of their choice. Previously team members have taken the opportunity to build boats, visit exhibits and art galleries, vlog their baking skills, learn a new skill or rediscover a passion.

The team takes turns each week to present whether that be a video, presentation or whichever means they feel most comfortable with what they did with their day back to the wider team and bond with colleagues they’d otherwise have less interaction with. Circus is a remarkable Multivitamin creation and a brilliant opportunity to stretch legs, relax and unwind. The regularity of the days provides an escape, a moment of freedom to do whatever the individual feels like. Anything is possible. And that’s exactly the value. It’s a way to discover your innovative side at your own pace.

Companies have a significant role to play in their teams’ well-being and must reflect and react regularly to ways they’re able to support their staff. We’re always learning, improving and listening to our teams. Multivitamin has created a comfortable, safe space for people to speak frankly and openly about their feelings, and our teams are key to every change we make.

We celebrate mistakes. Acknowledging, learning and developing at every opportunity.
